Airports
Dalaman is the closest airport to Kalkan. It is approximately one and a half hours journey by car. Transfers can be arranged for you through one of Kalkans most reputable companies, Abi travel. Transfers are by air conditioned car (1-3 guests) or a spacious air conditioned people carrier (4-6 guests) or mini bus (6-14 guests)
Your transfer will meet you at the arrivals gate at the airport.
2009 prices each way- £55.00 for a car, £70.00 for a people carrier, or £85.00 for a mini bus, payable upon arrival in sterling or Turkish Lira.
It is also possible to fly to Antalya Airport, however this is a three hour journey to Kalkan.
Should you wish to drive to the apartment from the airport we will be happy to provide detailed directions upon request.
Turkish Visa
Upon arrival at the airport it is necessary to purchase a Turkish Visa, this is £10.00 each and it is advisable to have a ten pound note for each person arriving.
Car Hire
Car hire is available with a reputable local firm from £23.00 pounds per day (including insurance) for a Fiat Albea or similar. The vehicle can be delivered to Dalaman airport for a small surcharge.

Flights and Travel Insurance
Flights to Dalaman and Antalya are available from most UK airports. We recommend several internet flight companies such as Fly Thomas Cook, Airflights and Farebase. Easy Jet and Jet2 now fly from several UK destinations to Dalaman.
We strongly recommend you take out full travel insurance when you book your holiday.

A travel cot is available in the apartment for our younger guests should it be required.
